President Fitzgerald and Olivia Pope have never been on the same page on ABC’s Scandal— and that showed to be true when she confessed she was his mistress when he was preparing to lie and say she wasn’t. Now, the fallout from her big reveal is set to take center stage on Thursday night’s episode.

While fans have had to wait seven days to find out what happens next, the network has at least given us something to hold us over in the meantime.

The First Lady is clearly livid when she finds out that Olivia actually admitted to being the other woman. After all, it puts a huge dent in her plan to get back into the White House and back on Fitz’s good side. But she isn’t giving up in making sure she’s the one who ends up on top.

She even throws a shot at Olivia when the two meet face-to-face and said, “Oh look. It’s the girl who can’t shut her legs.”

She later tells Cyrus Bean, who has a bone to pick with Olivia of his own, “I wanna destroy Olivia Pope.”

Cyrus is just ecstatic that Mellie has finally come around.

But Mellie isn’t the only one who is giving Olivia a major side eye. Her friend Abby confronts her after Olivia lied and said there was nothing going on between her and Fitz.

A synopsis also reads for the episode called Paris Is Burning, “Olivia and Fitz face some very big consequences and Mellie brings in an old friend to make sure she gets her way. Meanwhile, Abby shows Olivia she is fully capable of handling working at the White House.”
