Megan Fox Twitter: Finally Joins After Death Hoax & Posts First Tweet, 'I'm Late To The Party'
Megan Fox has finally decided to join Twitter, but not without skepticism.
Fox, 26, shared that she was joining the social media site on her Facebook page on Jan. 3.
"Against my better judgment, I have finally joined Twitter," she wrote on her Facebook page. "Every possible version of my name is already in use so for now my Twitter handle is https://twitter.com/MeganFox516. See you there."
Later, the "Transformers" actress star wrote that she changed her Twitter handle to @meganfox and wrote her first tweet.
"I'm incredibly late to the party but I'm here nonetheless, so what now?" Fox tweeted.
The new mom tweeted a second time, sharing what movie she had just watched to her 50,000 followers.
"Hello twitter," she tweeted Jan. 4. "How is everyones day going? 7:30 a.m. and we've watched 'A Bugs Life' twice . . so mine has been action packed as per usual."
Fox decided to join Twitter shortly after she became the first celebrity death hoax of 2013.
The "This Is 40" actress was rumored to have died in a single vehicle car accident, according to Global Associated News, the website known for creating false celebrity death reports for years.
After they reported that the beautiful brunette had died, the Twitter hashtag "RIP Megan Fox" began trending worldwide.
Fox shocked the world on Oct. 17 when she posted a statement that she had welcomed her first child, son Noah, with her husband Brian Austin Green on Sept. 27.
"We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect," she wrote.
Her last film, "This Is 40" arrived in theaters December 21.
