Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) is known for his love of the ladies and he may currently be in a relationship with ATF Special Agent Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols), but a former flame of his will return this season.

Director Vance Will Be Framed In Next 'NCIS' Episode

Which former flame will be back? Well, it looks like Dr. Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) who first appeared during the fourth season of NCIS in the seventh episode called "Sandblast".

Thompson last appeared in the fifth season's 14th episode called "Internal Affairs," so her character's return is bound to be interesting especially since she and DiNozzo didn't exactly end their relationship on a good note.

'NCIS' Plans To Tackle Female Navy Officers & Harassment Storyline This Season

If you need a refresher, DiNozzo was sent undercover to get close to Jeanne because of her father and then she accused him of murdering her father and he eventually admitted their relationship held no truth, which led to her feeling resentment toward him.

So how do we know she'll be back this season? Well, the NCIS Twitter teased the news last Tuesday.

Plus, Thompson later confirmed the news via her Twitter, sharing, "Gonna be quite a reunion."

The actress then shared a photo from on set with Weatherly at NCIS headquarters by the looks of the desks behind them.

"Reunited and it feels so good!" Thompson beamed, clearly thrilled to be working with Weatherly once more.

Weatherly also shared a photo from on set in which Thompson is seen talking to Sean Murray so it looks like not only DiNozzo will be interacting with Jeanne, but Timothy McGee will too.

What do you think about this former love interest of his popping back up?

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
