Prince William has had it with the media and is finally doing something about it. Kate Middleton's husband has recently lashed out at the paparazzi and constant "media intrusion" in his family's life and is demanding that everyone just leave them and their two children alone.

According to the Daily Beast on Monday, sources close to the royal family are saying that Prince William is at his wit's end. One of the reasons why he has such a sour taste in his mouth about the paparazzi because his own mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a car crash when she was being chased by photographers in Paris back in 1997.

The site reports, "This latest Royal Family measure may be much more about William's hatred of the press in general and the paparazzi in particular than anything else. Yes, of course, the desire to protect his children is utterly genuine, but is he really going about it the right way?"

The site also seems to be reminding that Prince William and his wife, Duchess Catherine are public figures and that it would be highly unlikely for them and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, not to be photographed whenever they are in public.

The publication added, "The policy of 'We won't let anyone take their picture without our consent. Ever' is as ridiculous as it is doomed to failure. It is also an utterly self-defeating strategy in terms of the harassment levels the family endures. After all, the price publications will pay for a clear set of pictures of Charlotte and George will likely rise with each day that goes by without those photographs turning up in a picture editor's inbox. A threat to 'accidentally' shoot photographers pursuing the royals doesn't appear to have stopped anyone either."

So far, neither Prince George nor his little sister Princess Charlotte have been seen in public ever since the newborn was christened back in July.
