Taylor Swift Splits With Harry Styles, Virgin Island Vacation Cut Short After Blowout (PICS)
It looks as though music sensation Taylor Swift will have even more material for her next hit breakup song as it's now being reported that she and "One Direction's" Harry Styles have called it quits.
After just two months together, the couple has allegedly decided to go their separate ways, according to New York Daily News.
"They were on holiday and had an almighty row," a source told Daily Mail, and also said that the two musicians broke up during their vacation to the British Virgin Islands just after celebrating New Year's Day together in Times Square.
Styles and Swift had spent the Christmas holiday apart, but did ring in 2013 with each other and took a plane to their romantic destination from New York. However, it was said that an unanticipated quarrel led Swift to abruptly head back to the U.S. on Jan. 4., just three days after arriving in the island.
To deal with his emotional wounds, Styles was said to have visited Virgin mogul Richard Branson at the nearby Necker Island.
"Richard Branson heard Harry was staying nearby so invited him to come check out Necker. So when Taylor left for the states, Harry went to Branson's island for the day to let off some steam," another source told Business Insider.
The reportedly caput celebrity couple were first reported together in mid-November, which was shortly after they were seen hand in hand on the set of "The X Factor."
"They are both really busy and never in one place for too long. Harry's really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it. Loads of his friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it's fallen apart so quickly," an insider stated to Life & Style.
