‘Dance Moms' News 2015: Abby Lee Miller Faces Five Years In Prison, Called The New ‘Teresa Giudice’ [VIDEO]
It looks like Abby Lee Miller has gotten herself into Teresa Giudice territory. The Dance Moms star is being charged with bankruptcy fraud and according to reports, her situation is definitely not pretty.
ABC News says that the controversial reality television star was hit with 20 counts of fraud for allegedly trying to hide her income when she declared bankruptcy back in 2010. That year Miller filed a petition to reorganize her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania studio, the Abby Lee Dance Company.
U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton reports that Miller opened up bank accounts to hide more than $755,000 she made from her reality show and merchandising. Abby also didn't report some of the money she made to the IRS and lied on financial reports.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was in a similar position, if not worse as she is currently serving her one-year jail sentence for multiple counts of fraud. The reality star along with her husband Joe Giudice were found guilty of engaging in bank, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, which allegedly saw them net over $5 million dollars in a 10-year period.
Teresa is currently serving her sentence until the end of the year. Her husband Joe will then serve his 41-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
So far, the usually outspoken Miller has not made any comments about her case.
If convicted, Miller faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each count of the indictment.
