Kristen Doute is going under the knife next week -- but it isn't a selective surgery.

Although Doute tagged a plastic surgery office in her Twitter announcement, the Vanderpump Rules star later confirmed she was in need of surgery due to an injury suffered the previous week.

Stassi Schroeder Reunites With Kristen Doute Just After Her Confirmed 'Vanderpump Rules' Return
After a fan tweeted to Doute in response to the message, Doute explained what happened.

Doute has been a cast member of Vanderpump Rules for the series' last three seasons, and when the show returns for season four next month, she will be seen in a full-time role, as she has been since its start. However, during filming, Doute went through a major life change.
After dating James Kennedy for nearly two years, Doute and her boyfriend called it quits during filming, for reasons that have yet to be revealed. That said, the trailer clip below seems to hint new cast member Lala Kent may have had something to do with it.
