Meghan King Edmonds' husband will be a part of the upcoming Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, and in a new interview, Jim explains why.

Following a 10th season of the show, which featured allegations of an impending divorce due to Jim's treatment of his wife, Jim has spoken out, insisting he isn't as bad as he seems on the show.

"I am going to the reunion so I can stand out in front of the world and say, ‘Hey listen, that wasn’t me. That’s not how I treat my wife,'" Edmonds explained during an interview with The Ryan Kelley Morning After Show. "Every couple fights. They catch you on TV, that’s just the way it goes.”

"I did not understand what I was getting myself into as far as the amount of sitting around," Jim continued of his reality television experience. "When you are sitting around your house with seven people trying to get you to do random things because it is not scripted, it gets irritating.”

As for their future with the series, Jim seemed to hint they could soon move on.

“We don’t need that," he explained. "My wife was hoping that this would lead to her being a spokesperson and turn it in to something positive. She wants to make a career for herself.”
