Adam (Justin Hartley) is about to face his trial on The Young and the Restless or at least that is what is supposed to happen, but certain residents think he will skip out and make a run for it.

Heading into the episode set to air today, Tuesday, Oct. 20, Christine (Lauralee Bell) definitely thinks Adam will not show up to the trial.

In the sneak peek teaser video that is below, she is seen talking to Paul (Doug Davidson) while staring at Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) in the courtroom.

"I've had such a bad feeling about this ever since he sprang from lockup," Christine tells Paul, adding, "I think Adam ran."

Aside from wondering if Adam will appear for his trial, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will be fuming with rage, knowing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will most likely be defending him in court during the trial.

"You can't go into court and defend this guy," Billy tells Chelsea at the penthouse.

His words seem to weigh heavy on her since her expression seems sad and worried in the sneak peek.

Plus, during this episode, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will become angry with Lily (Christel Khalil) since she seems to believe he did play a part in Hilary's (Mishael Morgan) kidnapping and ransom.

"You actually think that I did this," Cane states with shock in his voice while speaking to Lily.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
