In a heartfelt Instagram post, Hernandez revealed she was a premature baby.
"When I was born, I was born 3 months premature. I was fighting for my life and my parents had faith that I would make it through," she shared, adding, "The doctors were amazed that I came out screaming. My lungs shouldn't have been developed. I am so thankful to say that I not only survived being a preemie, but I went on to live out my dreams."

The 5H member also tweeted, "God's plans don't even compare to mine," on Monday so perhaps she never expected to forge a relationship with March of Dimes, but obviously has now.
