Justin Theroux might be one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood right now, but even he struggled to overcome some hardships throughout the years. Jennifer Aniston's husband admits that he only learned how to properly read in high school as he struggled with dyslexia throughout his childhood.

According to Xpose on Wednesday, Theroux says his learning disability is the reason why school was never a top priority for him.

He explained during a radio interview with NPR, "I was not a great reader. I don't know how to put it any other way. I tested as dyslexic and I was an unfocused child, so I didn't read a lot early on in my life, and don't read that much now, if I'm being honest."

Theroux also said that he always complained of a "bellyache" whenever he was asked to read out loud in the classroom.

"It was humiliating. It was horrible. The first time I was ever called on to read I could not," he explained. "I was called on the first or second day of this public school to read, and I remember looking down at the piece of paper that I was supposed to read and the first word was 'the,' which I could read because it's the first three letters of my last name, but I couldn't read a single other word. It was like just looking at Greek.

He added, ''I ended up catching up on a lot of my education in high school. I had a lot of catching up to do.''
