Justin Timberlake released a video Thursday in which he announced his return to the recording studio after taking a hiatus to focus on his acting career and other business ventures.

Timberlake teased on Twitter "Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST..." and when the time came, he posted a video called "I'm Ready" with his big announcement.

"Someone asked me the other day, 'So are you just done with music?' " Timberlake said in the video.

The answer is no since the video ends with the "SexyBack" singer stepping into the recording studio.

"It means more to me than anybody else in the world," he said. "Look, I've only done two albums in 10 years. That's the way I really look at it. What does the next decade mean for me...I don't want to put anything out that I don't love. You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it."

Timberlake starred in the 2012 film "Trouble with the Curve" alongside Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams, and he has three films expected to be released in 2013, according to IMDb. The 31-year-old and former member of N'Sync has fans long awaiting a follow-up to FutureSex/LoveSounds, which he released in 2006. Before that was 2002's "Justified."

Pop singer Justin Bieber already expressed that he is a fan of Timberlake and the direction he is taking for his return to the music industry. The "Boyfriend" singer revealed that he listened to some new material from Timberlake and then posted on Twitter "@jtimberlake @Timbaland i have heard some stuff. u got a good reason to be ready. #greatmusic."

Timberlake wed actress Jessica Biel on Oct. 19, at the Borgo Egnazia resort in southern Italy. The pair reportedly flew in 100 guests who included close friends and family.
