It turns out that despite a previous report about Oscar (Tim Kang) just being a stoner with some ties to the Salvatores, he actually is a heretic, but now he's a dead heretic since Valerie killed him to prevent the return of Julian (Todd Lasance)
The complications amongst all of these characters on the supernatural CW series will only continue to grow in the next episode, which is called I Carry Your Heart with Me.

The CW Television Network's YouTube channel shared the preview trailer for this new episode, which shows Damon seriously considering erasing all traces of Oscar after finding him dead since he knows his mother Lily (Annie Wersching) will assume he killed him.
"We need to get rid of this body," Damon tells his sibling.
Stefan isn't onboard though, telling Damon, "No, no, no! You need to get rid of this body."
The other heretics will wonder where Oscar is though so keeping his death under wraps will be a challenge.
Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) will get a "you just missed him" out of Damon after asking where Oscar is.
Damon seems to think bringing Oscar back to life is a grand idea, but it will end horribly as he does get revived, yet turns into a rabid killer.
Plus, reckless humans that will most likely end up dead because of the heretics will invade Mystic Falls.
The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
