Though shoppers will likely turn out in mass numbers on Black Friday itself due to drastically reduced prices on hot electronics, Best Buy is making plans to roll out other special deals earlier than that, promising discounts at a special savings event Nov. 7.

Kohl's Unveils Special Savings Events For Black Friday

Similar to a move the company made last year, they will be having a special savings event at participating stores on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., allowing shoppers to save money and preview the holiday collections from some of the top brands they sell in store., with Robot and virtual reality demos run by Geek Squad agents.

Offers the company will have for the special event will include a free tech gift for the first 100 customers, a chance to win one of five $1,000 Best Buy gift card through a Twitter sweepstakes, and Black Friday-like deals on the year's hottest gifts.

Though the specific deals have not yet been announced, the company may have also hinted at what consumers could be looking at by also announcing the top 15 tech gifts for 2015, several of which could be included in both the special savings event, as well as the company's actual Black Friday sale.

Those items include iPads, Bose QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling Headphones, MacBooks, a Samsung 48" Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, a Sharp 43" Smart HDTV with Roku, Microsoft Surface Tablets, a Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II, a Fitbit Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, a Dyson V6 Absolute Bagless Cordless Vacuum, a Vizio 43" Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, the Apple Watch, SONOS PLAY: 1 Wireless Speaker, an iRobot Roomba Vacuum Cleaning robot and the GoPro HERO4 Action Camera.

In addition to the special savings event, Best Buy has also announced that customers will be able to enjoy free shipping with no minimum order required from Oct. 25 until Jan. 2, and can receive more help than ever before with a new in-app live-chat feature called BlueAssist, which can give shoppers service faster than ever. Certain items will also be available for Free Setup by the Geek Squad.

The Geek Squad itself is also a gift that shoppers can give this year, with a limited-edition Gift of Geek Squad holiday package that gives those who are given it one hour of in-home tech setup and support, for either $99.99 or $149.99.
