The preview for the Duggar controversy inspired episode, titled Patrimonal Instincts, of season 17 of Law & Order: SVU was recently revealed.

Kelli Giddish Welcomes Her First Baby

In the clip, a family much like the Duggars in their reality television show 19 Kids and Counting is portrayed. The story seems to be slightly different in that one of the daughters is knocked up, whereas in the real case Josh Duggar was accused to molesting five of his sisters when he was a teenager.

The preview also seems to hint at criticism of radical christianity, and views the family through a strong lens of cynicism.

Peter Scanvino, who plays Detective Carisi, dished about the episode in a previously held press interaction.

Taylor Swift Guest Starring In Season 17?

"With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact-I mean, honestly, I feel like we're dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family...I wouldn't mind doing one just because I have never been so infuriated with someone's level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else," he said. "When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say."

The episode will feature Andy Karl (On the Twentieth Century), Geneva Carr (Hand to God) and Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical and Spamalot) with guest stars Ryan Devlin, Victoria Leigh and Chris Elliott. E!Online revealed that Sieber and Carr play husband and wife with 10 children.

This episode of Season 17 of Law & Order: SVU will air on Nov. 4 at 9 p.m. (ET) on NBC.
