Just like out of a blockbuster movie, people in China were shocked and amazed to see a floating city in the clouds.

Don't bother saying that this video is a hoax because scientists didn't just already proven its authenticity, they also debunked the anomaly. Jill Coleman, an atmospheric scientist from Ball State University in Indiana said that, "It's called a super mirage, which means it's an upward projecting mirage."

'Fata morgana,' an atmospheric mirage that causes the light to bounce and bend in the air with the help of cold, dense air near the ground, with a layer of warmer air above it. 'Fata morgana' also creates the illusion of making things taller - the further away you are from the subject. In this case, the subject just so happens to be a city making the illusion of a 'floating city.'
