Who remembers Meeka Claxton from VH1’s Basketball Wives in Miami? Well she’s back in the headlines after her and her husband Speedy Claxton’s split gets extremely ugly.

Some might recall that Meeka joined the cast for one season. She quickly got much more than she could handle after she got into a brief altercation with her then co-star, Tami Roman.
While Roman said that she and Meeka have settled their differences since then, she has more issues on her hands as her breakup with the former NBA player gets even more public.
Their latest battle involves alimony and child support for their two children, The Jasmine Brand reported Monday. Speedy also wants Meeka to be held in contempt of court. They’re slated to see a judge in November.
Interestingly enough, Meeka is the one who initially filed for the split last year. They had been together for more tun 16 years and married for eight.
But Speedy isn’t the only one making demands. Apparently Meeka hoped a judge would order Speedy to pay child support and alimony as they try to work out their differences in court. But Speedy wasn’t having it and filed his own papers saying he shouldn’t have to pay Meeka anything until a final ruling is reached in her split. He must not have liked what the judge had to say because the two were back in court as Speedy asked a judge to reconsider.
Meeka also wanted a judge to toss out a subpoena that Meeka gave him during ll of the drama.
They’re set to be in court on Nov. 30.
