Paget Brewster Talks Leaving Criminal Minds, Calls CBS 'Scummy'
In this Thomas Gibson directed episode the BAU will be after a street artist who incorporates his murder victims in his graffitti art in Detroit. There will also be some personal drama on the Dr. Lewis (Aisha Tyler) front.
The preview clip is quite chilling as it reveals how the dead bodies are used in the art, and the entire team Gibson's Hotch included seem to be thrown in quite a tizzy by this new case. What's particularly horrifying is that a baby is seen as a prospective victim, and the BAU will need to get to the artist before he conceptualizes another piece of work.
Could Ella Greenaway Return For Season 11?
As Tyler's character seems to getting more complex and fans will get more on her personal story, it seems like she is here to stay. Meanwhile, A.J. Cook recently revealed that she will be returning -- the actress is absent for the first bunch of episodes as she is on maternity leave -- to this chapter of the CBS procedural in episode 7.
Showrunner Erica Messer also revealed that Cook's newborn will feature on the show in an interview with TVGuide. "You'll get to meet A.J.'s real little baby, Phoenix. Like what she did with Mekhai [playing JJ's first son Henry], she's having her actual child play JJ's child," Messer said. "His name is Michael. Henry and Michael. Her whole family will be TV stars."
Here's the official synopsis for the upcoming episode:
"When the BAU investigates incidents of bodies being incorporated into macabre graffiti art in Detroit, they suspect an elusive-yet-notorious street artist could be the UnSub. Also, Dr. Lewis struggles to balance her relationship with her fiancé and her work."
The episode will air on Oct. 28 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
