“I think child support has a lot to do with [his motivations],” Messer told Us Weekly, via a Radar Online report on Thursday, adding that her ex-husband used to pay her $800 each month.

Although the site noted that Simms would likely "pay Messer much less" now that he's the twins' primary custodian, he may not have to pay her anything at all. In fact, as the primary custodian, he may have the right to request Messer pay him child support.

Also during her interview with Us Weekly, Messer alleged her twins were “miserable” living with their father, and his wife, Miranda, five days a week, and claimed her daughter Aleeah had threatened to run away from home.

“Aleeah’s talked about running away,” she said, adding that Ali and Aleeah miss her terribly.

In Touch Weekly was first to report news of Messer losing custody, claiming Simms was given control of the girls during a court hearing this month. The magazine also claimed Simms and wife Miranda would have Ali and Aleeah from Monday to Friday, while Messer was restricted to weekends.
