One of the former contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race gave some advice for future queens on how to keep that fake hair looking sharp.

Which Queens Are Being Rumored For 'RuPaul' Season 8?

On Thursday, a video was released featuring Morgan McMichaels from the second season. With help from her friend Brenna, the queen pointed out how to properly put on a wig.

The first step is to pull hair into a sleek bun. It should be in a "tight or high ponytail." A high ponytail adds volume while a low ponytail will make it "sleek and sexy."

Second step is to cover hair with a wig cap. Basically it's the same as putting nylons on except it's over the head.

Next step is to put on the wig. It should be from front to back and the hair line should go accordingly with where the wig is placed.

Next is to pin it in place. "You don't want to be a messy drag queen, honey," McMichaels said. The bobby pins should be added in and anchored to the cap.

Last step: style the wig. There are of course several ways this can be done depending on the performer's style.

All of these tips can come in handy for next season's queens of the reality competition so nothing falls off and everyone is comfortable doing their thing.
