Kylie Jenner On Her Legacy: Inspiring Young Girls To 'Do Good Things and Be Nice to Everybody' [VIDEO]
The 18 year-old reality star sat down with Time Magazine for a special interview last Thursday. Jenner is a part of the Most Influential Teens, for her second consecutive year due to her popularity online (with over 60 million social media followers), and her ability to make huge trends.
The reality star talked about how she did not realize the simple things, such as how she colors her hair, how she does her makeup and what she does, and what it all could mean to a lot to people.
"I know how influential I am over my fans and followers. I feel like everything I do, my hair color, my makeup, I always start these huge trends, and I don't even realize what I'm capable of. I didn't care what people had to say; I didn't even read any of that stuff. People might have been upset because we were next to, like, young girls who started schools and crazy things. But we're just different people! We're influential in different ways, and that's okay," Jenner said.
Kylie Jenner Calls Caitlyn Jenner Her 'Dad'
The 18-year-old also shared that with all the things happened to her and her family, she is convinced that her life changed a lot.
"I never thought that that could happen. But it keeps growing, which is awesome. I'm figuring out exactly what I want to do and becoming the businesswoman that I want to be. My lip kit is launching soon, and I want to have a successful makeup line. There's a lot of exciting things coming up that I'm excited about. I'm becoming a woman, I have my own house, and I'm really coming into my own now."
When asked about how she responded to Social Media users trying to mimic her 'cosmetically enhanced' lips using suction tricks (often with shot glasses), Kylie said, "With the shot glasses thing, that wasn't even my influence, because I didn't ever pick up a shotglass; that was a trend before my name was attached to it. Then people just started calling it the Kylie Jenner lip thing. I went on social media and said I was not down for this, I don't approve of this. So weird. But I started taking a different approach a couple of months ago. I felt like bullying was my thing, and I'm passionate about it, and I want to help other young girls and boys going through the same thing. I felt like I could be-I don't want to say a "leader," but I could be. I'm going through the same thing you are, so we can go through it together."

The younger Jenner sister has a way of connecting towards her fans and admitted that all the exposure has caused a lot of people to get the wrong impression of who she is. When asked about what she hopes her legacy will be,
"That I've helped people and that it wasn't just about me. That I was an inspiration for young girls. And it wasn't just getting your lips done and having good hair, but being a good person and inspiring other people to not bully other people and do good things and be nice to everybody," Jenner answered.
