In a recent interview Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity in Arrow, dished about the possibility of her father being revealed in season 4.

Now that Felicity's mother, Donna Smoak, is back in the picture and Oliver (Stephen Amell) is getting along with her, the question of Felicity's father does come up.

Rickards spoke to TVLine about this prospect and while she didn't give away any substantial information she did dish about the nature of her father some.

Could Sarab Be Resuscitated In Season 4?

"I don't know anything about my dad," she said, "except that he's probably going to be a villain and he's rich and that he comes in this season."

Last month, showrunners Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle also talked about Felicity's father and if the show was going to deal with this aspect of her life in season 4.

Speaking to TVLine, Guggenheim suggested that while that is something they are always looking to explore, he gave no assurances abotu it happening anytime soon.

"We're hoping," Mericle said.

"We're always talking about it, but we have to find the right story and the right moment. We trust that it will come to us when it's meant to come to us," Guggenheim added.

The next episode, titled Beyond Redemption, of Arrow will air on Oct. 28.
