The Young and the Restless has been gearing up for a frightful episode to end this week!

Michael E. Knight Dishes About Portraying The Shady Dr. Simon Neville On 'The Young and the Restless'

The soap opera's Twitter revealed Thursday night, "The tricks and treats begin tomorrow," which basically proves this episode will have viewers reeling.

The episode airing today, Oct. 30, kicks off "Danger in Disguise," which has a lot to do with all the favorite and not-so-favorite Genoa City residents being dressed up in costumes for the charity gala with some horrible things happening.

'Rehab Has Begun' For 'The Young and the Restless' Star Daniel Goddard!

In the teaser video below, it has been made clear that the residents will be in serious danger.

"The building is on fire!" Ben "Stitch" (Sean Carrigan) announces to the people at the gala after a scene of fire spreading wildly thanks to a red-cloaked and black-masked figure.

"My family's still up there," Nick (Joshua Morrow) is seen saying later on probably far away from the spreading fire.

Adam (Justin Hartley) will even take on being heroic as he looks for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in the fiery and smoky building.

Plus, it looks like this fire will spark Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to share her true feelings with Ben.

"I'm not leaving without you," she frantically tells him while covered in soot from the fire.

"Then we both die here," he dramatically tells her just as parts of the ceiling begin to collapse because of the fire.

Basically what will happen in today's episode at the charity gala will lend itself to a bunch of chaos that will continue next week.

More specifically for today's episode, the preview dictates that Dylan (Steve Burton) actually believes Cane (Daniel Goddard) is innocent in regard to the Hilary (Michael Morgan) situation.

"What if I told you I don't think you're lying about Hilary," Dylan tells him, which seems to prompt a look of wonder on Cane's face.

Meanwhile, Dr. Simon Neville (Michael E. Knight) looks like he will attempt to flee from town, which will worry Neil (Kristoff St. John).

Lastly, it seems like Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) words as the charity gala really begins are quite telling that everything actually won't be alright especially considering the teaser The Young and the Restless shared from the happenings at the event that will carry over into next week's episodes.

"Tonight's going to be a special night for the Newman family," she says in her fabulous costume alongside Nick.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
