Page Six recently revealed that a deal between American Media Inc. (AMI) and matriarch of the Kardashian Klan, Kris Jenner, to run a Kardashian Family fan magazine fell through because of Jenner's demands for total control over Kardashian related content in all of AMI's publications.

Some of AMI's publications include Shape, Star Magazine, the National Enquirer, and Radar Online. Jenner attempted to negotiate a deal with AMI in which she would give "the scoop" on Kardashian family gossip in the fan magazine, if she would be able to oversee any stories that AMI published about her family, redacting any story that portrayed them in a negative light.

The deal fell through when the National Enquirer ran a story about Jenner's daughter, Khloe, alleging that she was not the biological child of Jenner's ex-husband Robert Kardashian. Jenner has since removed all advertisement for Kardashian products from AMI's publications.
