Weeks after her ex-husband, Corey Simms, was awarded primary custody of 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah, the Teen Mom 2 star took to Facebook, where she posted a meme about those who may need a hug.
"Just sending out a big hug to whoever may need one right now," Messer's Facebook meme, which was shared on Wednesday, read.
During a court hearing on Oct. 13, Corey Simms “was awarded primary custody, effective immediately,” a source revealed to In Touch Weekly. “Leah only gets the girls on the weekends now."
Simms and wife Miranda announced they were filing for full custody of Ali and Aleeah in 2014, and since then, Messer has been plagued with rumors regarding her alleged drug use.
“Leah’s really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody,” the source explained.
And this may not be Messer's only custody battle.
“Everyone is very worried about Addie. She recently wandered out of the house while Leah was distracted,” claimed the family insider. “Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home. “If [Jeremy] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did."
