The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might not be big fans of social media, but it looks like they are going to have a huge meeting with one of the biggest social media companies ever: Facebook. Reports indicate that the royal couple are set to meet with the CEOs of sites like Facebook and micro-blogging network Twitter so they can help establish a plan to protect kids and teens from online harassment.

According to The Mirror on Monday, Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William will be tackling cyberbulling head-on as they plan on having "constructive dialogue" with the heads of the two technology companies.

A royal aide says that the Duchess in particular has had a heightened interest in the subject ever since her two children, Prince George, 2, and seven-month-old Princess Charlotte were born. Even though she and Prince William do not have their own private accounts on networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, Kensington Palace regularly shares photos and information about the couple's royal engagements and charity events.

A royal insider said, "Their role as parents is definitely shaping their perceptions on the issues. As parents themselves they want to speak out and see what more can be done for young people who are victims of cyberbullying and all forms of bullying."

What's more, cyberbulling has been a common theme in the Duchess' latest charity campaign, as she is working to help promote mental health awareness all across Great Britain.
