'The Good Wife' Season 7 Spoilers: Promo For Upcoming Episode Reveals Eli Plotting To Take Down Alicia And Peter [VIDEO]
The preview and plot for the upcoming episode, titled 'Lies,' of season 7 of The Good Wife was recently revealed.
'Eli's Head To Explode' In Season 7, Alan Cumming Dishes
In the clip, Eli (Alan Cumming), is seen scheming against Peter (Chris Noth) and he is on the war path. Eli pretends to cooperate with his arch nemesis Ruth (Margo Martindale). The promo also states that Eli is willing to sink to new lows when it comes to seeking revenge. Eli has come unhinged and despite the concern of his own daughter and those that care about him, it seems like the political handler is nowhere close to seeing reason and is going to only rest once Peter fails.
Additionally the Alicia and her new partner Lucca (Cush Jumbo) will be dealing with a fresh case which has to do with a former lawyer of a tech company, who has been sacked after taking a polygraphic test -- this explains the title of the episode on one level.

In the latest episode, Eli tried to win back Peter's trust at a point of failure from Ruth, but somehow Ruth overcomes and stays in Peter's good books.
In other recent news, it was revealed that Vanessa Williams will make her first appearance as Courtney Boalt on the show in the episode set to air on Nov. 15. The actress will be stirring things up in Peter Forrick's (Chris Noth) offices, particularly when it comes to Eli (Alan Cumming). In the still she is seen interacting with Eli. This will be most likely be the beginning of when sparks start to fly.
The episode will air on Nov. 8 on CBS.
