Aside from listening to the songs, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, have given fans in attendance of the listening parties little descriptions about the writing process for each song and where the inspiration came from.
The One Direction YouTube channel released a video of Horan and Styles talking about two of the bonus tracks found on the deluxe version of their album, which attendees of the listening parties have seen, but now everyone gets to know what these songs are about.

Horan animatedly spoke of track "Temporary Fix," which he co-wrote with the likes of frequent 1D collaborator Wayne Hector and others.
"We actually spent a day on it," Horan dished.
The song is like "No Control" from the band's previous album FOUR since it is rock-fueled, which Horan said was originally lacking from this LP, but "Temporary Fix" was crafted to fill that void.
"It's a love song, but it's got dark to it," he said, adding, "It's got a bit of grit to it."
"So it's basically about being in a bar," he explained of the song's premise, mentioning how a guy is chatting a girl's ear off and then he swoops in to rescue her.
"It's relatable I guess," Horan said, adding, "You know everyone has a grungy night out every now and then."
Then Styles dished on "Walking in the Wind," which he shared was influenced by Paul Simon's seventh studio album Graceland.
Styles revealed the verses are "so conversational" in this track, describing them as "spoken word."
Snippets of these tracks can be heard in the video above, but we're itching to hear them in their entirety.
