Earlier this month, performances from different artists were announced for the most awaited 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show', it was revealed that Rihanna will be performing again in this year's event but eventually her appearance will be no more.

The California King Bed singer announced that she officially bowed down that she will no longer be part of the said event. A source told Refinery29 that the singer needed to focus on her upcoming album and that she wasn't able to rehearse for the fashion show performance and also finish the record.

But the good news is Ellie Goulding will be replacing Rihanna alongside with the performance of Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.

According to Billboard.com, despite reports that Rihanna's long-awaited eighth album ANTI is dropping Nov. 6, a source close to the singer tells Billboard that's not the correct date. That means it's also unlikely ANTI will be dropping the following week, as Nov. 13 will see a heated showdown between One Direction between Made In the A.M. and Justine Bieber's Purpose for the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200.

October of this year, the 27 year-old singer took to her Instagram account about the details of her album. "Rihanna has changed the history of album art," a statement posted to Instagram reads. "By continuing to follow her own instincts, her work strives to make an impact by doing the very antithesis of what the public expects."

Billboard reports say that Rihanna revealed the title and cover art for her next album at a Los Angeles gallery last October. The cover, from Israeli artist Roy Nachum, shows a young Rihanna holding a balloon with a gold crown obscuring her eyes. "Sometimes the ones who have sight are the blindest," Rihanna said at the event.
