James Bond is known for his cool, innovative gadgets that help get him out of jams, but he's also had his fair share of lame ones over the years.
In honor of the release of Spectre, the 24th Bond film, we're taking a look back at some of the lamest gadgets the iconic spy has utilized through the first 23 films. After all, with 23 films and many precarious situations, they can't all be winners.
While many of these not-so-great gadgets are at least outside the box and creative, they are also so situational and arguably uncool that it's tough to look back on them fondly.

Brush communicator in Live and Let Die
So maybe a third nipple isn't really a "gadget" per se, but it's certainly a hilariously silly sight gag that somehow ends up working. Bond pastes a third nipple on himself to pose as Scaramanga, the villain, and it is apparently well known that this villain has a third nipple. Bond goes shirtless with the third nipple to get the attention of a Thai entrepreneur, and the whole convoluted plan works.
