Monty Brinson Looks Back On His Relationship With Kim Richards

On Thursday, just hours after the season six trailer for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was released, Brinson took to Instagram, where he revealed he was recently hospitalized on Halloween.

"For a few days before I felt paralyzed on my left hand side of my body, just collapsing like the good ole college days," Brinson wrote. "Honestly I thought I had a stroke, but did test for three days and at 7:00 a.m. I got a tap on my shoulder from my [doctor]."

"He told me they found a cancer cell in my brain with a gig mass around it and might have to operate but future study a operation I could die on the table," Brinson revealed. "Well I'm not stupid no operation. But their are already other options which I've agreed to do and it will gone in a month or two."

Although the news of Brinson's mass was certainly devastating, Richards' ex-husband also shared some good news with fans, explaining, "My lung cancer has gone down 65 percent and is doing great. I knew I could beat it without giving up."

Brinson spoke of his medical crisis earlier this week, telling fans he would soon reveal what the doctor informed him was wrong, but before he got a chance, Brandi Glanville, Richards' friend, dropped the shocking news during an interview with PEOPLE Magazine.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six premieres on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
