After suspecting his ex-wife, Leah Messer, was hiding a drug problem, Corey filed for full custody of their 5-year-old twins, claiming his former partner was an unfit parent. Then, last month, Corey won his case and was awarded primary custody of the girls, while Messer was given weekend visitation.
In other Corey Simms news, the longtime reality star has allegedly quit his role on the show.
“Corey is done with the show,” a source told Life & Style in July. “He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore.”
In addition, Messer's second husband, Jeremy Calvert, who filed for divorce from Messer in November of last year, is considering doing the same.
“Jeremy also wants out of Teen Mom,” the source added, “but he hasn’t made any formal moves yet.”
