Cynthia Bailey has broken her silence on her assault against her Bravo The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Porsha Williams and her once rocky marriage with her husband, Peter Thomas, after he was caught on video getting close to another woman.

Bailey not only admitted that reports of her kicking Williams in the gut were true, but she explained what happened that made her take such drastic actions.
She stopped by The Steve Harvey Show and opened up about the incident.

“I don’t condone violence in any way. It’s not who I am. However, you know, I do feel like if I’m in a threatening situation, I have the right to defend myself. And I just removed her from my personal space, but…with my foot instead of my hand. It’s a long story…”
She added that she was “upset” with herself for even being put in the predicament where she would have to get physical.
“I really mae sure that I did what I could to make it right.”
As for the drama with Thomas, the their relationship is a key story line in the upcoming season after he kissed a woman in footage that went viral on the Internet earlier this year.
“Peter and I are actually the only couple that got married on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ so I feel like our relationship is really the most scrutinized and criticized. However, marriage is tough. I mena, it’s just, it’s a tough thing. I think it’s really tough when you’re on a reality show together. You know, it’s snippets of us.”
