Donald Trump hasn't even hit the stage yet, but yet his Saturday Night Live hosting gig is making a lot of waves outside of NBC studios in New York City. Hundreds of protestors are rallying against the Republican Presidential hopeful, as critics are disappointed with Lorne Michaels' decision to bring on the controversial figure, given all of the remarks he's made about the Latino population and illegal immigrants in the United States. Many critics are already calling Trump's SNL stint "a disaster."

According to the Huffington Post on Saturday, many critics are disappointed that NBCUniversal decided to honor Trump with SNL hosting duties for the night, despite his anti-immigrant stance. This past summer the multi-billionaire alleged that Mexican immigrants are "rapists" who are bringing "crime" and "drugs" to the country.

Trump's protestors have gathered more than half a million signatures asking NBC execs to rescind their invitation to Trump, but their plea fell on deaf ears.

Deadline reports that the crowd grew to about 1000 people only a few hours before Trump is to take the SNL stage. Their "March to Stop the Hate" protest included sponsors from CUNY Dreamers, Make the Road, America's Voice, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Hispanic Federation, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, the Labor Council for the Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), the National Institute for Latino Policy, Answer Coalition, New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE), and NYC LGBTQS Chamber of Commerce Inc.

So far, NBC has declined to make any comments regarding their decision to bring back Trump, despite the fact that he was fired from The Celebrity Apprentice this past summer for his "racist" comments.

Trump first hosted Saturday Nighty Live back in 2004.
