Who is in the grave? That's the big question this season of Arrow, and the speculation mills are hard at work.

Showrunner Dishes About Constantine's Possible Return

In the premiere of season 4 we were made aware of the fact that somebody's going to die via a flashforward, a smart ploy to keep fans hooked until the end of the chapter. Since then there has been all form of speculation about who could be six feet under. A new report has a candidate. Design & Trend believes Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) will die this season and also lists its reasons for why he might be vulnerable. One of the important reasons is the fact that he is batting for Damien Darhk's team and he might need to redeem himself. The other two reasons are the fact that he is "not a real bad guy" and the fact that the show can afford to lose him as he is not that essential to it.

In a recent interview with TVLine, Arrow's executive producer Wendy Mericle spoke about when fans might find out about the person in the grave in season 4.

Donna Smoak And Quentin Lance To Be Romantically Involved?

Mericle didn't give a definite answer, only teasing the possible reveals suggesting that there might be more flash-forwards "here and there... right around midseason." In a way the producers hope to drop hints for viewers.

"We're definitely toying with that," Mericle said, "and when and if we do decide to do that, it will reveal even more pertinent information about not who's going to be in the grave but certainly where our characters are when that [death] happens."

Previously in another interview with TVLine, Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards also dished about the big mystery.

"As castmates, we're all like, 'Is it you?! Is it you?! Oh, it could be you!" Rickards said. "'No, you know what, it's definitely me. It has to be me! It'shas to be you! It has to be me! It's going to be them! It's going to be no one! No one's in the grave!' Like, that conversation happens daily."

Rickards is rather hopeful, though, as she spoke about the fans and certain publications making educated guesses, she reminded fans that on Arrow everybody can be brought back from the dead, courtesy of the Lazarus Pit.

"Everyone proves that it's not, and everyone proves that it is [any given character]," she said. "'But then there's this! And nobody can die because there's the [Lazarus] Pit. And there's time travel, and if we travel toThe Flash, we'd just bring them back to life.'"

The next episode, titled 'Lost Souls,' of Arrow will air on Nov. 11.
