Jennifer Lopez might not have a lot of luck in the love department, but if there's one thing she can count on during the darker periods of her life, it's her friends. The Latina beauty says that her friends have always been there for her, especially when she was dealing with the biggest heartaches of her life.

Lopez opened up about the time she needed her support system the most, especially after she pulled the plug on her marriage to her last husband, Marc Anthony. The couple split after being six years apart and even though their divorce was painful, the ex-couple has managed to keep things amicable between them, for the sake of their two children, twins Max and Emme.

"I think I realized they were as important - if not more important - when I divorced Marc," Lopez told Marie Claire UK.

What's more, Lopez says that she definitely values her friendships with her girlfriends more now than ever, especially since she's unattached and just looking to have fun.

"I just realized that I had been through [several divorces] and there they still were. Like they say, men come and go, but my girlfriends are always there for me," she added.

Just recently, Lopez has been forced to deny rumors that she is engaged to her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Casper Smart. The single celebrity mom officially broke up with him during the summer of 2014, but the pair have been photographed getting up close and personal together on multiple occasions.
