Chatter On Maddie's Relationship With Juliette On 'Nashville'

On Monday, TV Line posted a sneak peek of the next episode that takes place right after the last with Betty running through the woods trying to escape from the evil Kent. As she makes her way through the trees and looks super distressed, Kent is back at the car before he gets out and takes off running after his victim.

As it turns out though, this may not actually be happening- Betty can be seen and heard telling this story to her kids although she's using fairy tale metaphors, referring to herself as the maiden and Kent as the wolf.

So as the 'maiden' tries to get away, she stumbles as Kent climbs on top of her and tries to calm her down. While it looks like one of them might have more power over the other, Betty does something rather random- she bites Kent's lip.

And not only that, but she wraps her hand around his neck and pulls his lips onto hers as they share an intimate make-out session.

The moment ends with Kent taking Betty back to her place as she looks more than confused about what just happened.

Even though she clearly gets away, she's not "out of the woods" just yet.
