Cynthia Bailey has broken her silence on her now viral comment that she was no longer attracted to her husband, Peter Thomas, with his clothes off on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Bailey spoke with Bravo Monday on the statement she made to her sister in Sunday night’s episode. When Malorie asked if she was still attracted to Thomas, Bailey said yes.
But her answer changed when she asked if she was attracted to him if he’s not wearing clothes. All of this came as a video of Thomas rubbing up on another woman was making its rounds on the Internet.

Interestingly enough, she stands by her comment. She told Bravo TV, “When my sister Malorie asked me if I was still attracted to Peter with his clothes off, she was referring to him physically, not sexually. My honest answer was no.”
She added, “At the time of Malorie’s visit, the video had just come out, we were dealing with the stress of other marital issues, and Peter had packed on some unwanted pounds.”
Still, she made it clear that she is attracted to Thomas mentally and sexually, just not physically, which she seems to be okay with.
“Physical attraction is important in any marriage, but it is only one of the factors that will keep a healthy relationship together.”
She went on to say she believes there is a double standard as men hold women to “a higher standard” when it comes to being attractive to them.
