Moments later, Messer shared another post about a brave mother.

"This mommy would do ANYTHING to protect her baby," read the caption of Messer's second post, which included a link to a story about a woman who shot an intruder to ensure the man wouldn't harm her child.

News of Messer's Facebook posts comes just days after the reality star told Us Weekly she was planning to file for 50/50 custody of her twin girls, which would give her and Simms equal time.

“I feel like they should have both of us in their lives,” Messer said of Ali and Aleeah. “At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”

Messer also alleged her twins were miserable living with Simms and his wife, Miranda.
