"Photograph" singer Ed Sheeran is covered in plenty of tattoos, but for some reason his latest body art of a lion's face on his chest has sent the masses into a tizzy.

When the 24-year-old first posted an image of the tattoo in August many assumed it was fake or just absolutely hideous.
He has since shared other images on his Instagram teasing the tattoo and back in September revealed a full body shot, showing off the lion's extremely detailed face, but at that point it still wasn't complete.

The singer/songwriter has finally commented exactly what the meaning is behind this massive tattoo while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his artist Jamie Lawson.
"I played the biggest venue you can play in England and sold out for three nights," he said about his major accomplishment of playing at Wembley Stadium this summer in July.
"England's national emblem is a lion. All my tattoos are things that I've done in my career and they're all leading to the middle bit which is the lion, and that's like every part of my career put into one," he added.
"I think it looks cool," he said of his lion tattoo, adding, "I don't really care if anyone else does."
So the big lion tattoo is commemorating a major part of the singer's career!
