In the wake of Tamar Braxton's withdrawal, will Alexa PenaVega get to come back after being eliminated on Monday night's episode of ABC's Dancing With the Stars?

Does The Game Want To Be 'Dancing With the Stars' Contestant?

There is a possibility that DWTS producers could bring back PenaVega to continue dancing in the competition. The actress was eliminated Monday but Braxton had to withdraw from the competition on Tuesday due to multiple blood clots on her lungs.

Now the schedule of eliminations for the next two weeks is slightly messed up, so it's possible that PenaVega will get a second chance.

Carlos PenaVega Is Determined To Win 'DWTS' -- But Can He Do It?

"The producers are looking at all possibilities right now," a show insider told People this week. "There is a possibility that Alexa could be reinstated."

PenaVega went out on a high note on Monday having received a perfect score in her individual dance with Mark Ballas and an additional perfect score for their duet dance with Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough. But of course, the elimination is decided by determining the couple with the lowest combined judges' scores and America's votes from the previous week.

As it stands now, PenaVega's husband, Carlos PenaVega, is still in the competition, having made the semifinals with Irwin and Hough, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess and Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold. Carlos was visibly devastated to see his wife be eliminated, admitting during the show that he wished it had been him.

Right now it is unknown if DWTS will eliminate another couple next week or if they will make it a non-elimination episode.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
