In the sneak peek video below, Christine tells Judge Moxley "I'm just so thrilled you're on the Newman appeal," adding, "I couldn't ask for a more qualified judge to hear the case."
But is Christine responsible for getting this judge to hear the case? According to Soaps it sounds like Victor (Eric Braeden) is actually the mastermind behind bringing Judge Moxley into the mix. It seems to all be part of his grand plan to use Adam to take the Abbotts down while rebuilding Newman Enterprises.
Aside from Victor's constant scheming, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will attempt to do the best he can as Adam's lawyer. In the clip above, Michael enlightens Adam on the proceedings with the appeal with the new judge attached.
"I've got bad news," Michael shares, adding, "And you damn well better take it more seriously than your father."
Plus, Jack (Peter Bergman) will be onto Victor's scheming since he'll ask Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) what's going on.
"Oh Jack," Nikki sighs out in the clip above.
"What is it Nik? What's he up to this time?" Jack asks Nikki, with her stumbling to give an answer.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
