Ciara might have taken a vow of abstinence in her relationship with NFL star Russell Wilson, but that hasn't stopped her from feeling both sexy and confident. In fact, the chart topper admits that she is always putting her best foot forward because she feels as though she needs to represent the females of the music industry.

In a new interview with Allure Magazine's print edition, the singer says that she feels it is her job to always look and be her best, especially because she knows that all eyes are always on her.

She said, "I have this idea in my mind that while I'm out here doing my job that I kind of feel like I'm doing it for other women like myself. I'm representing the ladies, so I always want to have my best foot forward."

Ciara added, ''I also know that the only way you can really survive in this world is by being confident. It's a true reality for me, especially having a child. I have to be confident not only for myself, but for him, too. Confidence is key to survival.''

What's more, Ciara also revealed that she loves the natural look and puts on minimal makeup whenever she is out and about.

She explained, "If you feel tired or a little baggy, a little bit of a lighter concealer will pop out the highlights that are naturally on your face, especially on your T-zone. I also love a good bronzer. My very-little-makeup days consist of a little bit of concealer under the eyes and on the T-zone, a little bit of bronzer to frame the face, and then a nice lip pencil or a simple lip gloss.''

Ciara has been dating Wilson since the beginning of this year.
