'Witches Of East End' News: Petition For Renewal Gaining About 1,000 Signatures Per Week More Than A Year Since Cancellation [VIDEO]
Even though the show is never coming back, fans are still signing away for Witches of East End.
Good & Bad News For 'Witches Of East End' Renewal Process
As of Sunday, the petition to bring the former series back for a third season has reached more than 230,000 signatures in the past year. Just six weeks ago, there were about 223,000 implying that there have been a little more than 1,000 signatures per week lately.
While this would seem like positive news, it's been more than a year since it was announced that the show would not be coming back for new episodes. This caused a good haul of outrage from the public since the show ended on a cliffhanger with a bunch of teases that never got solved.
Is It Too Late For A 'Witches Of East End' Renewal?
However, hope wasn't all lost; while answers were not given on television, Witches of East End author Melissa de la Cruz was nice enough to give answers to these questions in young adult novel series Summer on East End: Triple Moon.
According to Yahoo!, the answers that will be revealed include what will happen with Dash and Killian's switched bodies, if Wendy will stay in the Underworld, if Frederick will ever return, the mystery of Ingrid's pregnancy and if Freya and Killian will find a way to be together.
De la Cruz mentioned that she was told by Fox 21 to keep some of the storylines unresolved "just in case the show ever gets picked up again."
