While the world is clamoring for the first pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s little girl, Blue Ivy, Jessica Alba is telling the music superstars to sell the pictures. Alba explained it was the best thing for the new parents to do to avoid the hysteria. That is, after all, what Brad and Angelina did.

“For our family, we just wanted to control the experience and we put the money that the picture made into a bank account for Honor to do whatever she wanted to do with,” Alba said in an interview with CNN’s AJ Hammer. “It’s her picture, it's her birth, and we didn't want it to be a weird thing when we were walking out of the house for the first time."

"If there's a price tag on your child - which is bizarre - people will go to crazy lengths, and we wanted to avoid that hysteria," she continued.

Alba explained that for Honor’s first picture that was sold to OK Magazine back in 2008, the photographer was a friend.

"The biggest thing is having a healthy baby and being happy in your home. I'm sure Beyonce will make the best decision for her family."

Beyonce and Jay-Z are an extremely private couple and did everything possible to fiercely guard the birth of their first child. It will be interesting to see if they do decide to sell the first pictures, but according to a previous Huffington Post article, there were no plans to.
