Recently Jack Falahee, who plays Connor on the show, told E!Online that the spinning cheerleader motif will remain relevant.

He revealed that the cheerleader will most likely return on the show, and could also be Annalise's (Viola Davis) shooter.

E!Online caught up with Falahee at the PaleyFest New York's How to Get Away With Murder.

"That was a motif that we really enjoyed," Fallahee said. "Yeah, I think that we need to bring her back. She may have shot Annalise, we don't know."

The showrunner Pete Nowalk also told TVLine that he didn't think that Wes and crew could go that far, -- shooting Annalise -- in a way assuring fans perhaps, that their suspicions are to be trounced.

"I find it hard to believe that any of them would be able to leave her bleeding there - whether they want her dead or not. They're just kids," Nowalk said. "Even if you think you want someone dead, if you shoot them, well, I know I'd have instant regret and want to fix it."

The next episode, titled 'What Did We Do?,' will air on ABC on Nov. 19.
