Mariska Hargitay Directed Episode To Deal With Date Rape
Mike is the son of Deputy Chief William Dodds (Peter Gallagher), the latest addition to Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) team.
The preview and synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled 'Depravity Standard,' of season 17 of Law & Order SVU was also recently revealed.
Benson is going to be in a very tough position as she will be confronted with a case that has "haunted Benson her entire career." Lewis Hoda (Tom Sizemore) will return and plead not guilty stating that he has been framed. In the clip Benson looks totally frazzled by the proceedings as Hoda claims his innocence and she is put back in the hot seat to solve this case.
Here's the official synopsis:
"Lewis Hoda (Tom Sizemore) begins his trial on child abduction. However, a plea deal is refused and Barba must face a former SVU colleague, Dr. Huang (BD Wong). Barba is forced to put his faith into very old evidence to land the offender in prison."
The episode will air on Nov. 18.
