The Young and the Restless tends to pair mismatched characters together, but Billy (Burgess Jenkins) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) do share a common enemy in Victor (Eric Braeden). Victor is responsible for heaps of trouble, like Phyllis being decevied by Marco (Peter Bergman) who was pretending to be Jack (also portrayed by Bergman).

Now, Phyllis and Billy want revenge on Victor. During the episode that aired Monday afternoon, they made a pact to make him suffer in the ways they have.

The Young and the Restless's YouTube channel released a teaser trailer of the alliance: Phyllis promises, "I'm going to help you bring Victor Newman to his knees," as she and Billy shake hands.

Early on in the preview, it looks like Billy and Victor have a bit of a face-off, and Jack is seen talking to Phyllis, worried about Billy getting caught in the middle of all of Victor's usual scheming.

When Phyllis and Billy agree to work together, Jack is seen saying, "He's out for blood." The drama in Genoa City is hitting yet another high.

In a preview specifically for the episode airing today, Nov. 17, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will raise concern about certain Genoa City residents; it's clear something is up.

"I wonder who we should be watching. Victor, or you and Billy?" she says to Jack and Phyllis in the clip below.

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will confide in Dylan (Steve Burton) about his issues with Sage (Kelly Sullivan).

"I can't go home," Nick tells Dylan, prompting Dylan to dig a little deeper. It's revealed then that Nick and Sage are having relationship problems.

To add to the mess, Sage will be spending some time with Adam (Justin Hartley), which will be interrupted by Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Chelsea seems to think certain truths are being hidden from her. She would be right; Christian very well might be Sage's son with Adam, not Nick, since Adam is agreeing to Victor's scheming.

Furthermore, it turns out Christian didn't actually die; as reported by Soaps, a nurse is behind his kidnapping.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
