Taylor Swift & Harry Styles Reconcile? Speculation as Swift Flies to London for a Few Days
Taylor Swift got on a plane Monday to fly to London reportedly for a few days and rumors began circulating about a potential reconciliation with United Kingdom native, One Direction singer and Swift's ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.
They couple separated on Jan. 4 following a dispute they had while on vacation in the Virgin Islands. Though young fans might hope to see the two singers reunite, Hollywood Life confirmed that Swift, 23, arrived in London with two people, lots of bags and a guitar - as she is reportedly scheduled to perform at two award shows in London and also some photo shoots.
"Once she disembarked, she was met by a bodyguard and a driver who took her straight into central London," a source said. "She is staying at a London hotel. She seemed excited to be here. She was heard saying how pretty London looked (it's covered in snow at the moment)."
Styles is currently in London himself. On Tuesday, he was seen getting into a chaffeuered Range Rover in Central London, where he was also approached by a fan asking for an autograph. He was spotted at a restaurant in London on Sunday, Jan. 20, by another fan who posted an image of herself with Styles on a social media site with the caption, "Spotted: Harry Styles hitting up the Jew scene #kosherchinese."
Swift and Styles reportedly fought while on vacation on Virgin Gorda, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, as they celebrated the New Year's holiday together. The topic behind their dispute, which was large enough to end their relationship on Jan. 4, is still unknown but one insider confirmed that the 1D member "said something he shouldn't have."
On New Year's Eve, they were videotaped kissing in Times Square when the ball dropped.
A close friend of Swift's said she sent a series of apologetic text messages to Styles after they broke up, trying to mend the relationship by saying that she regretting ending things with the British singer.
