‘The Voice’ Season 9 Contestants: Will Pharrell Remain In Touch With Mark Hood? [VIDEOS]
The Voice last season dropped the Top 12 down to a Top 10, but this season only one contestant was sent packing during the first round of Instant Save performances. Only two found themselves in the bottom, whereas last season there was a bottom three after the Top 12 performed.
The bottom two consisted of Team Gwen's Korin Bukowski and Team Pharrell's Mark Hood. Bukowski gave a riveting performance of Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why" during the Instant Save performances.
Hood delivered with his catchy rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," but one of them had to leave, so Pharrell Williams' contestant ultimately went home.

The Chicago native might be heading home, but he has the best outlook on the way things played out.
"God is still good y'all," he insisted despite the outcome of his elimination.
God is still good y'all. I'm so grateful for this experience. Thank you ALL for all your support! Me and Pharrell aren't done yet.

It sounds like his coach will be staying in touch with him too much like how Pharrell kept in touch with last season's Mia Z even though she faced elimination early on too during the live shows.
"Me and Pharrell aren't done yet," Hood said.
Perhaps Pharrell will pen Hood a song like he did for Mia Z. Hood revealed he is a bit bummed he's out of the competition, but he knows "this isn't the end of the road."
Yea man, I'm sad. But this isn't the end of the road. — Mark Hood (@MarkJPHood) November 18, 2015
The singer also thanked his followers for their "outpouring of love and support."
Thank y'all SO much for the outpouring of love and support right now. This is difficult. You guys are the best!

It seems like regardless of not making it into the Top 11, Hood will always have the support of his Hoodies (that's what his fans are called).
The Voice will air on NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
